2012 R60 Countryman blower motor replacement

I recently purchased a 2012 R60 Countryman 1.6D All4, but the blower motor is giving me problems. I've already bought a replacement, and it only works sometimes.

Particularly for a UK RHD model, I'm having trouble finding any instructions or tutorials on how to replace the motor. Does anyone know where the motor is or which panels need to be removed, or have any experience with this? I'm hoping you can assist me as I'm new to the forum.
 
I had the same problem with R60. The blower resistor is located on the driver's side, just behind the side panel to the right of the gas pedal. It's super easy to reach and take out, and you won't need any special tools for it.
