I’m having an issue with the air conditioning in my 2011 Mini Countryman All4 S. It’s not blowing cold air, so I took it to Halfords for a re-gas. However, the technician said it was already full, had no leaks, and that the compressor was working fine.

If the system isn’t leaking and the compressor is functional, what else could be causing the problem? Could it be something like a clogged filter, a faulty sensor, or maybe an issue with the AC condenser?

I’d really appreciate any ideas or advice from those who’ve dealt with similar issues.

Have you tried to crank the AC all the way up, what does the airflow actually feel like? Like, does it really feel like it's pushing out maximum cold air? Also, if you have automatic climate control, make sure you're testing this in manual mode to really isolate the issue.

If the system is full, leak-free, and the compressor is working, it could be something like a clogged cabin air filter or an issue with the AC condenser. A clogged filter can restrict airflow, and a dirty or damaged condenser can prevent the system from cooling properly.
Hopefully, it is not a problem with the expansion valve or a faulty sensor, like the one monitoring temperature or pressure. The solutions you have are to check or even replace the cabin air filter.
