Hi guys, I'm Alfred! So glad to be part of this forum and ready to absorb all the knowledge I can.

We’re planning to buy a used Countryman SE with just 1k miles. Been contemplating if I should buy the latest instead but my budget doesn’t permit me. Appreciate any feedback from owners. We’re going to meet the owner this weekend so that we can test drive it. Hopefully it goes well!!

Hey buddy, the resell value for slightly used PHEVs is still high. Maybe you can stretch your budget and opt for the brand new or consider other EVs, inquire about govt. subsidies and warranties. You will be saving a lot more in the future.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah, you're right. And also since it has 1k miles on it, the price is still pretty high, so it would be better to opt for the brand new instead since there's not much of a price difference. I'll be sure to update here once we bring our dream car home. Thanks again!
